X-Country Heads to the Post Season / Former Sheridan Bronc Dontae Crow Punts for UW / Pokes at Fresno Saturday Night

BRONC / LADY BRONC X-COUNTRY - The Bronc and Lady Bronc cross country runners will be in Gillette Friday for their conference meet Head coach Art Bauers says both teams are performing at a high level right now.

And in a great compliment Bauers says the coaches have really enjoyed the last couple of months with this year's runners.

With the conference meet and the state championships coming up Bauers says the training preparation is all about getting fast.

And finally today he talks about the mental prep for each meet.

VOLLEYBALL - The Lady Broncs dropped last night's conference match at Natrona county 3-1. They host league play with Cheyenne South and Laramie this weekend Friday night the varsity will go at 6:00 and Saturday at noon.

The Sheridan college volleyball team beat Casper college last night 3-0 next up is a road match at Northwest college Friday night.

The Big Horn Lady rams play buffalo tomorrow they they're at home Friday with Wright and play at Moorcroft Saturday.

The Tongue River Lady Eagles play at Greybull and home vs Riverside Saturday.

HIGH SCHOOL FOOTBALL - In football action Friday the Sheridan Broncs host Laramie at 6:00, the Big Horn Rams will play at home as well they host Niobrara county at 6:00.

The Tongue River Eagles play Saturday they host the Sheridan Bronc JV's at 11:00 am.

COWBOY FOOTBALL / DONTAE CROW - The Wyoming Cowboys play at Fresno state Saturday night former Sheridan Bronc Dontae Crow was pressed into punting duties for the Cowboys in their game at Hawaii last Saturday night due to injury and came through with some nice kicks.

Dontae says last week was a whirl wind and he ended up on the field punting Saturday night in Honolulu.

He says he was able to settle himself down after taking the field in a live game situation.

Cowboy Head coach Craig Bohl awarded Crow a scholarship in the off season and he's been working to get into the Cowboy receiver rotation.

The Pokes have struggled a lot offensively to get things going this season and Dontae says they know it and the hard work continues.

BRONCO FOOTBALL - The Denver Broncos host the LA rams Sunday afternoon kickoff at 2:05 on KWYO and 106.9 FM.

SWIMMING / DIVING - The Lady Bronc swimmers and divers will be in Laramie for meets Friday evening and Saturday.

SOCCER - The Sheridan college soccer teams will end their regular season at Laramie county Saturday.
