WYOMING TRACK CLASSIC - The Wyoming track classic runs today in Casper a dozen Sheridan county athletes will compete.

Qualifiers from Tongue River high school are Josiah Huff in the 400 meters, Amanda Hutchinson in the 800 meters and Sarah Nielsen in the discus.

Three from Big Horn high school will compete Matt Wigglesworth in the 300 meter hurdles, Christian Mayer in the 100 meters and Bailey Bard in the 400 meters,

Six from from Sheridan high school will participate today they are Gabby Edeen in the 100 and 200 meters, Kyle Dietsche in the 800 and 1600 meters, Micheal Rotellini in the 3200 meters, Casey Carleton in the 400, Shayla Christensen in the shot put and Crystal Richards in the triple jump.

BRONC / LADY BRONC SOCCER - The Bronc and Lady Bronc soccer teams play conference matches with Cheyenne East tonight and central tomorrow. the girls will be at home this week the broncs travel.

Lady Broncs Head coach Tom Racette says they are facing two of the top teams in class 4-A this week.

They dropped both games at East and Central three weeks ago and Racette tells us what has to be different for the Lady Broncs to get a better outcome.

GOLF - The Bronc and Lady Bronc golfers will play in a tournament in Powell today and the Buffalo invitational tomorrow.

TROOPER BASEBALL - The Sheridan Troopers will open the 2013 season tomorrow at Thorne-Rider stadium in a double header with Cody. The first pitch will be tossed out at 1:00 and we will have the opener live on 14-10 KWYO and 87.7 ESPN radio.

They will also host an opening day 5K run tomorrow starting at 11:00 in Thorne-Rider park, the cost is 25 dollars per runner, cash prizes will be awarded to the top three placers in each race, runners will also receive t-shirts and goodie bags.

All proceeds go to benefit Sheridan American Legion baseball.
