TRACK / FIELD - The Sheridan high school track teams are getting ready for competition this week at the Wyoming track classic tomorrow and the Casper invitational Saturday.

The Broncs and Lady Broncs are coming off solid finishes in their own invitational this past week and Head coach Art Bauers says the Dan Hansen meet was the largest ever.

Qualifiers will compete at the Wyoming track classic in Casper tomorrow the meet will be held at Kelly Walsh high school.

The top eight in each running event and top 10 in each field event are qualified to compete and Bauers will take a good group to represent Sheridan high school.

The Classic will be followed by the Casper Invitational Saturday also at KW and Bauers says it looks like the Casper invite will be another great day of competition.

GOLF - The Bronc and Lady Bronc golfers are scheduled for tournament play in Powell tomorrow and the Buffalo invitational Saturday.

SOCCER - The Bronc and Lady Bronc soccer teams play conference matches with Cheyenne East and Central tomorrow and Saturday the girls will be at home this week the Broncs will travel.

TROOPER BASEBALL - The Sheridan Troopers will open the 2013 season Saturday at Thorne-Rider stadium in a double header with Cody.

The first pitch will be tossed out at 1:00 and we will have the opener live on 14-10 KWYO AND 87.7 ESPN radio.

ROCKIES BASEBALL - The Colorado Rockies beat the Atlanta Braves 6-5 in 12 innings Wednesday.

The Rockies open a four game series at Arizona tonight you can hear the game live on 87.7 FM ESPN radio broadcast time is at 7:00.
