WYOMING ALL-STATE FOOTBALL SELECTIONS - Wyoming All-state football awards have been announced as expected several players from our Sheridan county teams received those honors.

6-MAN - The NSI Wolves had two players make the 6-man football all-state team they are Jami Hale and Dezmen Patron.

1-A - The Tongue River Eagles were the 1-A runner ups five Eagles made the all-state team, Cody Buller, Jaxn Kobza, Dillon Lyons, Brennan Kutterer and Jamie Dickerson.

2-A - The Big Horn Rams had three players make the 2-A all-state team they are Brice Beisher, Nolan McCafferty and Colton Williams.

4-A EAST ALL-CONFERENCE FOOTBALL - The 2015 4-A state champion Sheridan Broncs had several players earn post season awards including 10 all-conference players on offense first team honors went to Wide receivers Dontae Crow and Zach Campbell, second team honors went to Coy Steel. Crow was also named the first team kick return specialist.

Three Broncs made the first team from the O-line, Blake baker, Davis Alden and Jacob Hallam.

Blake Godwin was first team and Quarterback and both Bronc running backs Evan Coon and Riley Sessions were first team selections as well.

On defense Blake Baker and Jacob Hallam were first team on the D-line, Zach Gale and Skylar Morris made the 2nd team.

Riley Sessions and Evan Coon were first team linebackers and Dalton Legerski made the 2nd team.

Dontae Crow and Zach Campbell were first team defensive backs, Crow was also named the first team kicker.

The 4-A East offensive player of the year honor went to Blake Godwin, Riley Sessions was the defensive player of the year and Blake Baker the lineman of the year.

Broncs Head coach Don Julian was named the 4-A East coach of the year.

4-A ALL-STATE FOOTBALL - The Broncs were also well represented on the 4-A all-state team.

On offense Dontae Crow and Zach Campbell as wide receivers, Blake Baker and Jacob Hallam on the O-line, Blake Godwin at QB and both running backs Evan Coon and Riley Sessions.

On defense linemen Blake Baker and Jacob Hallam, linebackers Evan Coon and Riley Sessions, defensive backs Dontae Crow and Zach Campbell, Crow was also named 1st team return specialist.

The Bronc football team will cap off their state championship season tonight with their post season awards dinner and program at Sheridan high school at 6:00.

SUPER 25 FOOTBALL - Five Sheridan county players also made this year's Casper star tribune Super 25 list, from Sheridan high school Evan Coon, Blake Godwin and Dontae Crow, Nolan McCafferty made it from the Big Horn Rams and from the Tongue River Eagles running back Dillon Lyons.

GENERALS / LADY GENERALS HOOPS - The Sheridan college Generals play at Northeastern Colorado they along with the Lady Generals will host the 41st annual Sheridan Lions club tournament this weekend games are 2:00, 4:00, 6:00 and 8:00 Friday and noon. 2:00. 4:00 and 6:00 Saturday

COWBOY HOOPS - The Wyoming basketball Cowboys host Cal state Bakersfield tomorrow night pregame at 6:30 on KWYO and 87.7 FM.

Saturday the host a return game with Montana state pregame at 5:30 also on KWYO and 87.7 FM.

COWGIRL HOOPS - The Wyoming Cowgirls play at Cal state Fullerton tonight pregame at 7:30, Friday they return home to play UC Santa Barbara pregame at 6:30 on KWYO and 87.7 FM.

COWBOY FOOTBALL - The Wyoming football Cowboys end their season Saturday with a home game against UNLV you can hear it live on KWYO and 87.7 FM Cowboy pregame starts at 11:00 with kickoff at noon.

BRONCO FOOTBALL - The Denver Broncos host the New England Patriots in Sunday night football this week, kickoff will be at 6:30 on KWYO and 87.7 FM.
