WYOMING COWBOY JOE CLUB - The Wyoming Cowboy Joe club held their spring membership fund drive reception last night at the Sheridan Holiday Inn.

UW Athletic Director om Burman was on hand for last night's festivities.

Over the last decade new athletic facilities have been built and several renovated next on the list will be the 30 year old "Arena Auditorium" Burman says the renovation work won't start for a while.

And he says when the renovation is finished the "Double AA" will have a complete different look.

As far as the Athletic Department he says the sports at the University as a whole have been on an upswing for the last two years and is expected to be even better coming up in the fall.

Also in attendance last night was the newest Wyoming Cowboy golfer Sheridan's Kamrin Allen who is finishing up his high school golf career this spring he says the last four season's have flown by.

The spring season will end in a few weeks and Allen talks about getting ready for the next step in his career playing college golf.

We will have more with Burman and Allen this week also in attendance last night were Head basketball coach Larry Shyatt and Head football coach Dave Christensen we will hear from both Shyatt and Christensen later in the week as well.

BRONC / LADY BRONC SOCCER - The Bronc and Lady Bronc soccer teams play Cheyenne Central and East Friday and Saturday the Broncs are at home varsity game times are 6:00 Friday and Noon Saturday.

TRACK AND FIELD - The Wyoming track and field classic will be held in Casper Friday. The competitors with the best running times and best field events in the state this spring from all classes are invited to this meet.

Saturday the Broncs and Lady Broncs are scheduled to compete at a big invitational in Casper.

BRONC / LADY BRONC GOLF - The Bronc and Lady Bronc golfers have two tournaments this week Friday in Powell and in Buffalo Saturday.

TROOPER BASEBALL - The Sheridan Troopers have rescheduled their Canceled date with Casper. The original date was May 6th.

The game will now be played Friday night May 11th at Thorne-Rider stadium, it will be one nine inning game.

The Home opening celebration will now be held on Sunday, May 13th when the Troops play a double header with Powell.

That will also be our first live broadcast of Trooper baseball games will be at 1:00 and 3:00 we will broadcast game one live on 14-10 KWYO.

ROCKIES BASEBALL - The Colorado Rockies were rained out yesterday in Pittsburgh, that game will be made up tomorrow as part of a day/night double header.
