WYO Rodeo Perf Results / Trooper Baseball Alumni day is Tomorrow / Rockies at Mets Tonight

WYO RODEO - Here are Thursday night performance winners at the Sheridan WYO rodeo in the rough stock events Casey Bruer took the Bareback riding with a score of 83.5, Ty Bruer still leads the way with an 88 from Wednesday night.

In the Saddle Bronc riding Bradley Harter had a score of 77.5 Thursday night, Taos Muncy still leads with a score of 85.5 and in the Bull Riding Thursday night Dustin Boquet scored 76.5 points, Guthrie Murray leads the way with 87.5 from Wednesday night.

In last night's timed events Matt Reeves led the way in the Steer Wrestling with a run of 4.9 seconds, Cade Swor led the Tie Down roping with a time of 9.7 seconds, Trevor Brazile took the Steer roping with a time of 12.4 seconds and Shelby McCauley took the Barrels last night with a run of 17.24.

TROOPER BASEBALL - The Sheridan Troopers host the annual Trooper alumni game tomorrow at noon.

Their next home date is Monday night when they host a Doubleheader with the Billings Royals we will broadcast game one of the Doubleheader live on KWYO and 106.9 FM the first pitch will be tossed out at 5:00.

ROCKIES BASEBALL - The Colorado Rockies resume the MLB season tonight on the road at the New York Mets you can hear the game live on Sports Talk 87.7 FM Rockies on deck starts the broadcast at 4:30.

BRONC YOUTH FOOTBALL CAMP - The 11th annual Sheridan Bronc football summer mini-camp will run Monday through Wednesday the camp for the young Broncs up through 8th grade from 5-6 pm the cost is $15 and includes a tee shirt.

Registration for the young kids is at Homer Scott stadium starting at 4:30 Monday, players will need proof of insurance at registration.

FALL SPORTS - The 2017-18 high school sports season isn't too far off with Bronc football team opening fall camp the first Monday in August the rest of the fall sports will open August 14th with the first weekend of competition is Friday and Saturday August 25th and 26th.
