BRONC / LADY BRONC HOOPS - The Bronc and Lady Bronc basketball teams play at the East regional tournament in Laramie the Lady Broncs play Thursday night at 7:00 against Cheyenne East the winner advances to the semi finals we will broadcast the game live on KWYO and 106.9 FM.

The Broncs play Friday night in the semi finals at 8:30 against the winner of Thursday's game between Campbell county and Cheyenne south.

STATE WRESTLING - The Bronc wrestlers placed 7th as a team in the state wrestling tournament, Freshmen Reese Osborne was the lone Bronc state champion at 113 pounds and ends his first year in varsity wrestling with a 49-3 season record

STATE HOCKEY - The Sheridan Hawks hockey team won two games over the weekend to take the 2018 Wyoming state"B" hockey championship the Hawks finished off the run beating Laramie 4-3 for the title Sunday.

Bronc Reese Osborne wins Wresting state title / Sheridan County Shut out on Bids to 1-A / 2-A State Hoops / Bronc and Lady Bronc Basketball Head to Regionals

STATE WRESTLING - Sheridan Bronc Freshmen Wrestler Reese Osborne won the state championship in the 113 pound weight division Saturday night in Casper.

Osborne rolled through his weight class and finished off his title run winning by pin the championship match.

The Broncs finished 7th as a team in the 4-A race Cheyenne East took the 4-A team championship.

1-A / 2-A REGIONAL HOOPS - All Five Sheridan county 1-A and 2-A basketball teams failed to qualify for this weeks state tournament the Big Horn teams along with NSI were all eliminated on Saturday.

1-A / 2-A REGIONAL BASKETBALL - High school post season basketball stared yesterday for 1-A and 2-A teams at various sites around the state

The Tongue River Eagles lost 81-40 against Pine Bluffs the Eagles play an elimination game today against Glenrock.

The Big Horn Rams advanced into the semi finals with a 57-54 win over Glenrock they take on Pine Bluffs tonight at 7:00.

The Lady Rams dropped their opener to Pine Bluffs 62-57 they play an elimination game today against Burns.

1A-2A Basketball Regional Tournament/Bronc and Lady Bronc Weekend Outlook/Cowboys and Cowgirls Play Fresno State

1-A and 2-A high school basketball teams open the post season today at regional tournaments.
With the Tongue River Lady Eagles eliminated from the post season Tuesday with their loss to Moorcroft in a “play in” game with the TR boys will carry the school colors into today’s regional tournament opener. The Eagles will take on top seed Pine Bluffs. The game tips off at 1:30 this afternoon.
The Big Horn Rams and Lady Rams are also in Torrington for the regional. The Rams play Glenrock at noon and the Lady Rams play Pine Bluffs at 5:30.

Upcoming Sheridan County Sports Outlook, Wyoming Cowboys Lose to Lobos, Cowgirls Play Tonight

The Tongue River Lady Eagles lost their play-in game against Moorcroft last night by a score of 55-36. The loss eliminates the Lady Eagles from the regional tournament.
20 Bronc wrestlers have qualified for the state tournament. The all class Wyoming state wrestling championships will start Friday at the Casper Events Center.
The Sheridan High School basketball teams wrap up the regular season this week at home with Thunder Basin on Friday night and over to Campbell County Saturday. We will have all four games live on KWYO AM-1410 and 106.9FM.
