WEEKEND SPORTS WRAP UP

SOCCER - The Sheridan high school soccer teams had conference action over the weekend against Cheyenne East and Central

The Lady Broncs dropped both 5-2 against East and 4-0 against Central.

The Broncs split beating East Friday 1-0 and dropping the match with Central Saturday 2-1.

This week they host matches with Gillette Friday the boys varsity match will open the action at Homer Scott stadium at 4:00 with the girls to follow at 6:00.

TRACK - The Sheridan high school track teams competed in a meet at Casper Kelly Walsh high school full results are listed on line on the sports page at sheridanmedia.com.

This week the track teams will compete at a meet in Billings tomorrow weather permitting and then back to Billings for a big invitational Saturday.

GOLF - The Sheridan high school golfers are scheduled to host their spring invitational tournament Friday at Kendrick golf course play begins at 11:00.

SC SOCCER - Sheridan college Men's soccer coach Austin Albers will be hosting a try out event for the generals soccer program in a three weeks.

Albers tells us what has planned for prospective generals players on April 27th.

ROCKIES - The Colorado Rockies swept a weekend series from San Diego and stand at 5-1 after the first week of the regular season. they are tied for the division lead with Arizona.

They open a six game road swing tonight at San Francisco before moving on to San Diego later in the week.
