FOOTBALL - The Sheridan Bronc football team beat Cheyenne Central 31-12 Friday night jumping out to a 14-0 halftime lead and building that lead to 31-6 entering the 4th quarter.

Senior running back Jordan Roberts ran for 137 yards and two touchdowns in his first game in a Bronc uniform.

Quarterback Kevin Bakkehaug threw for 162 yards and two scores as the Broncs took the opener Head coach Don Julian.

One good thing that came out of the game with the Broncs playing with the lead the coaches were able to get several first year varsity players into the game.

And now they have a game film for the players to watch and that will be important this week as they prepare to play at Natrona county Friday night.

And speaking of the NC game since the arrival of Don Julian and his staff the rivalry has been ramped up a couple of notches with the Mustangs.

The Broncs get a great test with a road game to Natrona county we will have the fame live for you Friday night the First Federal pre game show starts at 6:30 with the kickoff scheduled for 7:00.

The Big Horn Rams lost their zero week scrimmage game 21-6 in Thermopolis Friday night.

This week the Rams open the regular season at home against Greybull Friday afternoon at 1:00. That game will be broadcast live on AM 14-10 KWYO.
The Wyoming Cowboys open at home Saturday night against Weber state at 6:00 and the Denver Broncos play their final Pre-season game Thursday night at Arizona.

GOLF - The Bronc and Lady Bronc golfers were washed out of their tournament in Powell Friday after 15 holes because of thunderstorms.

The broncs won in Cody Saturday placing four players in the top four spots led by Kamrin Allen first overall then Chris Cremer, Cole Smith and Jack Mavarakis.

The Broncs and Lady Broncs play at the Worland invite Thursday and Friday.

VOLLEYBALL - In volleyball action the Sheridan Lady Broncs, the Tongue River Lady Eagles and Big Horn Lady Rams played at the Riverton tournament over the weekend.

The Lady Rams were knocked out of bracket play by Lander the Lady Eagles were knocked out by Riverton and the Lady Broncs made it to the semi finals before losing to Rock Springs.

TENNIS - The Lady Bronc tennis team played in Rapid City and finished 6th overall the Broncs played exhibition matches at home Saturday tomorrow both teams host matches with Natrona county matches begin at 3:00.

SWIMMING - The Lady Bronc swimmers finished 6th at the Casper relays Friday they were in Gillette for the Gillette pentathlon Saturday no team scores were kept.

CROSS COUNTRY - The Bronc cross country runners had two finish in the top ten at the Casper invitational Micheal Rottelini finished 3rd overall and Kyle Dietsche was 8th.
