BRONC / LADY BRONC BASKETBALL - The Sheridan high school basketball teams won five out of six games in Green River over the weekend.

The Lady Broncs won Friday and Saturday after losing their first game of the season Thursday. Friday they beat Rock Springs 53-30 and closed out the weekend beating Evanston Saturday 46-29.

The Lady Broncs play at Buffalo tomorrow night the varsity game will tip at 7:00 you can hear it live on 95.9 FM.

The Broncs are ranked #1 in 4-A boys basketball and stand at 6-0 after three convincing wins at the Flaming Gorge Classic.

They blew out Jackson 75-39 then beat Rock Springs on their home court 67-54 and closed out the tournament whipping Pinedale 61-35.

Tomorrow night the Broncs host Buffalo Head coach Mike Ibach says the Broncs are looking forward to heading into the holiday break with one more good ball game.

TONGUE RIVER BASKETBALL - The Tongue River and Big Horn basketball teams will be competed in the 2-A East / West tournament in Fremont county over the weekend.

The Lady Eagles went 3-0 with victories over Wyoming Indian, Wind River and Big Piney. The Eagles went 1-2 beating Big Piney and dropping games to Wyoming Indian and Wind River.

BIG HORN BASKETBALL - The Big Horn Lady Rams dropped a game to Wyoming Indian then beat Wind River and Big Piney, the Rams beat Big Piney and lost against Wyoming Indian and Wind River.

BRONC WRESTLING - The Bronc wrestlers finished 4th at the Worland dual tournament Saturday. Senior Clay Carter received outstanding wrestler honors for the third time this season gong 7-0 and remaining unbeaten.

UW BASKETBALL - The Wyoming basketball Cowboys are 11-1 and will get back into action with a road game tonight at Denver University. The game will be live on 95.9 FM (ONLY) pregame is at 6:30 with the tip at 7:00.

UW FOOTBALL - The Wyoming football Cowboys got blown out in the New Mexico Bowl by Temple University the Owls owned the Pokes all day Saturday in the 37-15 win.

The Cowboys end their season with an 8-5 record, Saturday the University also announced Head football Dave Christensen signed a five year contract extention.

BRONCOS FOOTBALL - The Denver Broncos were beaten by New England Sunday 41-23, the Broncos jumped out to a 17-6 lead but three second quarter turnovers changed the momentum and they were never in it after that.

The Broncos will play a road game at Buffalo Saturday it will be an early start with the pregame at 9:00 and kickoff at 11:00 live on 14-10 KWYO.
