Weekend Local Sports Wrap up

BIG HORN RAMS FOOTBALL - The Big Horn Rams ran through 11 straight opponents on their way to winning the 1-A state title, they showed their complete domination in taking apart Cokeville 55-3.

The Rams set the stage when Kade Eisele returned the opening kickoff 91 yards for a touchdown, Head coach Kirk Mclaughlin was a happy coach after the victory.

Offensively the Rams were on point all afternoon.

On defense they were just as dominant with a signature defensive stand stopping the Panthers on downs at the three yard line to end the first half.

12 Seniors led the way this season for Big Horn and Mclaughlin said they have come a long way in the last four years.

Senior Kade Eisele set the tone on the opening kickoff and it's all the scoring the Rams would need.

Eisele says it was a big moment and they made it happen.

BRONC FOOTBALL - The Sheridan Broncs made their 4th straight trip to the 4-A title game but dropped the game to Natrona county 28-14 it was a really bad 10 minute stretch in the second quarter that did the Broncs in, NC blocked two punts and got a pick six interception that totaled 21 points and the Broncs couldn't recover they end the season as the runner up at 9-3 overall.

All state football teams will be announced this week and both Big Horn and Sheridan should be well represented.

COWBOY FOOTBALL - The Wyoming football Cowboys get back into action Saturday they host the Air Force.

BRONCO FOOTBALL - The Denver Broncos are off their bye week they play at the LA Chargers Sunday.

SC HOOPS - The Sheridan college hoop teams went to Montana the Lady Generals split winning at Dawson and losing at Miles City the Generals won both winning big 91-61 in Miles City and 94-60 at Dawson. Both teams play at a tournament in North Dakota this weekend.

COWBOY HOOPS - The Wyoming basketball Cowboys lost 83-64 at Oregon state Saturday, next up is a home game Wednesday night against Grambling the game will tip off at 7:00 on KWYO and 87.7 FM.

COWGIRL HOOPS - The Cowgirls lost at St. Mary's of California 90-86 they will play at home tomorrow night against the University of Colorado - Colorado Springs.
