Weekend Local Sports Wrap up

BRONC / LADY BRONC HOOPS - The Sheridan high school basketball teams dropped games against Billings Senior Friday they both came back Saturday with victories over Natrona county the Lady Broncs won 45-43 the Broncs beat NC for the third time 41-27.

Lady Broncs Head coach Larry Ligocki said it was a huge win Saturday over Natrona.

And it ended up being the Lady Bronc defense that won the game for them.

Now conference play begins and the two biggest games of their season are this week against Laramie and Cheyenne South.

Both teams host Laramie Friday game times are 5:30 and 7:00 and Saturday against South at 11:30 and 1:00 all four game will be broadcast live on KWYO and 106.9 FM.

BH HOOPS - The Big Horn basketball had Rocky Mountain and Greybull on the schedule the Lady Rams won at Rocky Friday and dropped their home game against Greybull Saturday, the Rams lost at Rocky and beat Greybull both teams open conference play at home Friday against Sundance then at Tongue River Saturday.

TR HOOPS - The Tongue River basketball teams dropped games at Greybull they open conference play at Wright Friday then host Big Horn Saturday.

SC HOOPS - The Sheridan college basketball teams split at Western Wyoming the Lady Generals won 72-52 the Generals lost 82-70, they host Miles City Wednesday night.

UW HOOPS - The Wyoming Cowboys dropped their home game with Colorado state Saturday the Cowgirls won at CSU.

Saturday the Cowboys play at Utah state while the Cowgirls host the Aggies.

WRESTLING - The Bronc wrestlers finished 14th at the Cowboy invitational Miles City, Montana, Reese Osborne was the Broncs lone champion winning at 113 pounds. This week the Broncs will compete at an invitational hosted by Moorcroft.

SWIMMING - The Bronc swimmers dropped their dual Laramie Friday and finished 7th at the Cheyenne invite Saturday. This week the Broncs will compete in dual meets in Casper Saturday.
