Weekend Local Sports Wrap up

BRONC / LADY BRONC BASKETBALL - The Sheridan high school hoop teams dropped games with Billings Senior the Broncs are 3-2 on the season after dropping a 58-55 game in Billings Friday, this week they play their final game until after the first of the year.

The Broncs play their home opener Friday night against Natrona county the varsity game is scheduled to tip off at 7:00 we will have it live on KWYO and 106.9 FM.

The Lady Broncs came very close against Billings Senior Friday in their home opener Senior took a 10 point lead late in the second half only to see the Lady Broncs battle back into the game to take a 59-58 lead but Senior would score the final six points of the game for the 64-59 win.

Lady Bronc Head coach Larry Ligocki says the Lady Broncs gave Billings Senior all they wanted.

And he said the Lady Broncs made huge strides from the opening weekend of the season.

And he says moving forward they need to keep the positive play going and it will start Friday night in their return trip to play at Natrona county.

BH / TR BASKETBALL - The Big Horn and Tongue River basketball teams played at the Foot Hills classic in Fremont county in the girls games Big Horn went 1-2 the Lady Eagles went 0-3 the boys teams had a tough week both going 0-3 on the weekend.

The Big Horn Rams and Lady Rams are done until January 4th the Eagles and Lady Eagles will play road games at Riverside Thursday night.

SC BASKETBALL - The Sheridan college Generals and Lady Generals both picked up blow out wins over Little Big Horn CC Friday they are off now until the first week in January.

WRESTLING - The Bronc wrestlers finished 5th in the Worland dual tournament over the weekend next up are home matches Thursday evening as they host duals with the Casper schools, Thunder Basin will be here to compete as well matches are set to start at 4:00 and 5:00.

COWBOY BASKETBALL - The Wyoming Cowboys beat Texas Southern Saturday night tomorrow night the Pokes host Northern Colorado you can hear the game live on KWYO and 106.9 FM broadcast time is 6:30.

COWGIRL BASKETBALL - The Cowgirls get back into action Thursday when they travel to play at 14th ranked Duke.

COWBOY FOOTBALL - The Cowboy football team play Central Michigan Friday in the Famous Idaho Potato bowl in Boise.
