Weekend Local Sports Wrap up

BRONC FOOTBALL - The Sheridan Broncs beat Laramie 55-14 to run their record to 8-0 with one game to play in the regular season.

They dominated the Plainsmen Quarterback Aaron Woodward threw four touchdown passes and Kyle Custis ran for three more and the Bronc defense never let Laramie get out of the gate here's Head coach Don Julian.

They close out the regular season Friday at home against Cheyenne East and the game is for the number one playoff seed meaning the home field advantage through the playoffs.

It is military and veteran appreciation night the Broncs are inviting all veterans and current military to come out to the game they will have a kick off ceremony with the players prior to kick off.

It's also senior night the team will honor the seniors and their families in a ceremony at 5:00 the game will kickoff at 6:00.

RAMS / EAGLES FOOTBALL - The Big Horn Rams whipped Big Piney 39-21 while Tongue River lost at home to Upton / Sundance 38-7 both teams close out the regular season Friday night with a renewal of the Thunder Bowl Big Horn will host the Eagles the game will kickoff at 6:00 and will be broadcast live on Sports Talk 87.7 FM.

COWBOY FOOTBALL - The Wyoming Cowboys beat Utah state 28-23 here's Head coach Craig Bohl. This week they go back on the road to play at Boise state

BRONCO FOOTBALL - The Denver Broncos fell Sunday night to the previous winless New York giants 20-10 was the final.

X-COUNTRY - The Bronc and Lady Bronc cross country teams ran at their regional meet in Cheyenne the Lady Broncs were 2nd the Broncs were 3rd. The main event of the season comes this week, the 2017 Wyoming state cross country championships will be held here Saturday on the grounds of the Sheridan VA.

SWIMMING / DIVING - The Lady Bronc swimmers and divers won their dual meet with Riverton Friday and were 2nd at the Gillette invite Saturday to close out their regular season they will have their conference meet this week.

LADY BRONC VOLLEYBALL - The Lady Bronc volleyball team will close out the regular season this week with a match at Thunder Basin Thursday and Campbell county at home Friday. the 4-A East regional tournament will be played in Laramie next week.

RAMS / EAGLES VOLLEYBALL - Big Horn and Tongue River close out their regular season's as well their regional tournament will be played next week in Sundance.
