Weekend Local Sports Wrap up

BRONC FOOTBALL - The Sheridan Broncs beat Thunder Basin 45-20 to run their record to 4-0, it was a brutal night for weather with rain, cold and wind and after a sluggish start they got rolling taking a 24-0 lead at halftime, after the game Head coach Don Julian.

Despite the rough start Julian says it was a tough night on the players and they are pleased to be 4-0.

This week they close out a very tough three week stretch of games hosting Casper Kelly Walsh.

EAGLES FOOTBALL - The Tongue River Eagles whipped Shoshoni Friday night Ron Richter has the game wrap up.

RAMS FOOTBALL - The Big Horn Rams dropped their home game to Pine Bluffs 22-21 in overtime this week the Tams host Niobrara county,

COWBOY FOOTBALL - The Wyoming Cowboys got beat by Oregon Saturday 49-13 this week they are home again they open conference play with Hawaii Saturday night.

BRONCO FOOTBALL - The Denver Broncos crushed the Dallas Cowboys 42-17 Sunday they play on the road at Buffalo Sunday.

VOLLEYBALL - The Lady Bronc volleyball beat Cheyenne Central 3-2 and lost at Cheyenne East 3-1 they play at the Casper invitational Friday and Saturday.

SWIMMING / DIVING - The Sheridan Lady Bronc swimmers and divers host a Pre-invitational meet Friday at 4:00 and the Sheridan invitational will start Saturday morning at 9:00

X-COUNTRY - The Bronc and Lady Bronc Cross country teams run at the Glenn Legler invitational in Casper Friday.

STATE GOLF - The Sheridan high school golfers end their fall season at the state championships in Evanston the dates have been moved to today and tomorrow because of the wet weather last week.

Also today the 2-A state golf championships tee off at Kendrick golf course.

STATE TENNIS - The Bronc and Lady Bronc tennis teams will play at the state championships this week in Gillette play opens Thursday.
