Weekend Local Sports Wrap up

BRONC FOOTBALL - The Sheridan Broncs beat Natrona county 37-13 to run their record to 7-1 they led the game wire to wire and Head coach Don Julian said it was an all around great performance.

With the victory they wrap up at least the number two seed for the playoffs which means they will have the home field advantage for both the quarter final and semi final games.

They finish up the regular season schedule at Cheyenne South Friday night and Julian says it will be another tough challenge.

EAGLES FOOTBALL - Tongue River knocked off Pine Bluffs Friday Sheridan Media's Ron Richter has the game wrap up.

RAMS FOOTBALL - The Big Horn Rams took care of Moorcroft 46-8 the Rams close out the regular season with a road game at Wheatland with the number two playoff seed on the line.

WOLVES FOOTBALL - The NSI Wolves dropped a shoot out in 6-man action at Hanna-Elk Mountain 93-65 with the loss the Wolves are knocked out of playoff contention.

COWBOY FOOTBALL - The Wyoming Cowboys get back into action this week after a week off they play at Nevada Saturday night.

BRONCO FOOTBALL - Next up for the Denver Broncos is a home game a week from tonight against Houston.

LADY BRONC SWIMMING / DIVING - The Lady Bronc swimmers and divers finished 2nd at their conference meet they will have this week off the 4-A state championships will be on the 27th and 28th in Gillette.

BRONC / LADY BRONC CROSS COUNTRY - The Sheridan high school cross country runners ran at their conference meet in Cheyenne both teams finished 3rd.

Saturday Sheridan will host the Wyoming state championships on the grounds of the Sheridan VA.

LADY BRONC VOLLEYBALL - The Lady Bronc volleyball team split road matches they dropped their match at Cheyenne East 3-0 and came back with a 3-1 win at Cheyenne Central. The Lady Broncs close out the regular season at Gillette Friday.

RAMS / EAGLES VOLLEYBALL - The Big Horn Lady Rams beat Tongue River in Big Horn Friday the Lady Rams lost at Wright 3-0 Saturday. The Lady Eagles went to Sundance and dropped that match 3-1.
