Weekend local sports wrap up

LADY BRONC HOOPS - The Lady Broncs upset Cheyenne East Friday and beat Cheyenne Central Saturday in overtime to run their conference record to 4-0, here's Head coach Jessica Pickett.

Senior Robbi Ryan had a big day Saturday leading the Lady Broncs to the victory scoring 35 points.

BRONC HOOPS - The Broncs upset Cheyenne East Friday and fell behind and had to play catch up all afternoon with Cheyenne Central but Central held them off for the 10 point win, Broncs Head coach Gale Smith.

This week the Broncs and Lady Broncs host Gillette game times Friday night are set for 6:00 and 7:30 and we will have them live for you on KWYO and 87.7 FM ESPN radio.

TR HOOPS - The Tongue River Eagles and Lady Eagles split with Rocky Mountain and Wright over the weekend the Lady Eagles won both the Eagles dropped both games.

BH HOOPS - The Big Horn Rams and Lady Rams swept all four weekend games from Moorcroft and Sundance.

This week the Big Horn teams travel to play in Dayton at TR Friday.

SC HOOPS - The Sheridan college Generals and Lady Generals split games against Casper college Saturday the Lady Generals lost while the Generals got a shot at the buzzer to go and beat the T-birds by three, Wednesday night the host games with Northwest college.

COWBOY HOOPS - The Wyoming Cowboys beat Colorado state Saturday 83-76, they play at Air Force tomorrow broadcast time will be at 6:30 with the tip at 7:00 live on KWYO and 87.7 FM.

COWGIRL HOOPS - The Cowgirls lost at CSU Saturday 62-43 they play at home Wednesday against Air Force.

WRESTLING - The Bronc wrestlers swept all four conference matches with Cheyenne East, South, Central and Laramie. they compete in the annual Ron Thon invitational in Riverton this weekend.

HOCKEY - The Sheridan Hawks hockey swept both weekend games with Pinedale they won 4-2 Saturday night and took yesterday's game 3-0.

Head coach Zane Garstad says the Hawks played well and kept their composure when it got a little chippy Sunday.

And he says they teams is doing a lot of things very well right now.

SWIMMING - The Bronc swimmers split duals with the Casper schools, they beat Natrona and lost against KW.

They compete at home Friday night then over to Gillette for an invite Saturday.
