Weekend local sports wrap up

BRONC / LADY BRONC SOCCER - The Sheridan high school soccer teams both split conference games with Cheyenne East and Central over the weekend.

The Lady Broncs dropped their match with East Friday but salvaged with weekend beating Central Saturday.

The Broncs were on the road and beat East to open the road trip and fell at Central Saturday.

Both teams will play at home tomorrow with games against Natrona county. These matches were added to the schedule last week the girls match will start at 4:00 with the boys to follow at 6:00.

WEEKEND TRACK AND FIELD - The Broncs and Lady Broncs both finished 2nd in the team race at the Kelly Walsh track invitational and Tongue River high school hosted their first ever track meet Friday no team scores were kept at that event and you can see all the individual results on the sports page at sheridanmedia.com.

TROOPER BASEBALL - The Sheridan Troopers are a little over two weeks from starting their season Head coach Ben Phillips says he has a good mix of veteran players and some new guys that will make up this year's roster.

They open their season May3rd in Cody and May4th in Billings before the home opener May 11th and Phillips talks about early season expectations.
