HIGH SCHOOL FOOTBALL - The Sheridan Broncs built up a nice lead in Laramie Friday night then survived a Plainsmen rally and took the game 35-19 to run their winning streak to five straight at 6-1 overall Head coach Don Julian.

Seniors Riley Ryan and Gabe Dahmke missed the game because of injury and Julian says that gave some others a chance to fill and they got the job done.

Taylor Kraft and Hayden Legerski made some big plays, after a couple of drops Kraft made a big touchdown catch just before halftime and then had a interception in the second half, Legerski caught a touchdown pass as well and sealed the game with 3:00 minutes to play.

The Big Horn Rams picked up a win in their homecoming game Friday Ron Richter has the wrap up.

WYOMING FOOTBALL - The Wyoming Cowboys had a decent first half at Utah state Saturday night but the Aggies got rolling in the second half with the Pokes fell apart, Utah state went onto win the game 63-19.

The Cowboys are now 3-2 overall and open MWC play Saturday at home against UNLV.
NFL - The Denver Broncos played at home Sunday against San Diego, Tim Tebow came into relieve a struggling Kyle Orton and almost got it done but the Broncos ran out of time late and San Diego held them off 29-24.

CROSS COUNTRY - The Sheridan high school cross country teams run at their regional meet in Gillette Friday with the state championships set for Douglas next Saturday.

SWIMMING - The Lady Bronc swimmers host the north conference meet Friday and Saturday.

VOLLEYBALL - The Sheridan Lady Bronc volleyball team lost a conference match at Laramie Friday and won at Cheyenne South Saturday.

The Lady Broncs close out the regular season Friday and Saturday hosting Cheyenne East and Cheyenne Central.

The Big Horn Lady Rams beat Moorcroft on Friday and lost a five set match at Thermopolis Saturday.

The Tongue River Lady Eagles swept both of their matches beating Sundance and Moorcroft.

This is the final week of the regular season for both teams they will open the final week playing each other Thursday night in Dayton.
