Weekend Local Sports Wrap up

BRONC FOOTBALL - The Sheridan Broncs beat Campbell county 41-7 to run their record to 6-1 and maintain 2nd place in the league standings.

Head coach Jeff Mowry said they started slow got a big touchdown in the closing seconds of the first half then took off in the third quarter to put the game away, the game had a little of everything with the Broncs also forcing five turnovers.

Two games are left in the regular season they play at Laramie Friday then home against Cheyenne East with a chance to lock up the home field advantage through two rounds of the playoffs.

THUNDER BOWL - The Big Horn Rams remain unbeaten with a 49-16 over Tongue River in the Thunder bowl.

WOLVES FOOTBALL - The NSI Wolves lost at Hulett the Red Devils win in a blowout 62-7

COWBOY FOOTBALL - The Wyoming Cowboys lost at San Diego state 26-22 they host New Mexico Saturday afternoon.

BRONCO FOOTBALL - The Denver Broncos beat the Tennessee Titans 16-0 Sunday for their 2nd straight victory this week the Broncos host Kansas City Thursday night the game will kickoff at 6:20 you can hear it live on 14-10 KWYO and 106.9 FM.

BRONC / LADY BRONC X-COUNTRY - The Bronc and Lady Bronc cross country teams had a good day at the Gillette invitational Friday the Broncs took the team title the Lady Broncs were 2nd.

SWIMMING / DIVING - The Lady Bronc swimmers and divers won their dual at Casper Kelly Walsh Saturday.

VOLLEYBALL - The Lady Bronc volleyball team hosted the volleyball Border Wars the Lady Broncs went 1-3 on the day with their win coming against Bozeman, Montana

The Big Horn Lady Rams lost at Sundance 3-0 and the Tongue River Lady Eagles lost 3-0 at Wright, Saturday the Lady Rams beat the Lady Eagles 3-1 Saturday.

The Sheridan college Lady Generals volleyball team dropped both road matches at Laramie county and Eastern Wyoming

JUNIOR HOCKEY - The Sheridan junior Hawks crushed the Butte Cobras Friday night 12-3 and blasted the Cobras again Saturday night 14-3 to run their record to 6-4 overall. The Hawks are on the road this week at Missoula, Montana.
