Weekend Local Sports Wrap up

BRONC / LADY BRONC HOOPS - The Sheridan Bronc and Lady Bronc basketball teams both dropped games with Billings West Friday night for the Broncs it was their first loss of the season.

Saturday the Lady Broncs dropped their home game with Kelly Walsh 47-29 here's Head coach Larry Ligocki.

They are struggling getting the ball in the basket and that's something they will be trying to correct as the conference season starts this week.

The Broncs came back with a 70-57 win over KW Saturday and Head coach Jeff Martini said they did a good job of shaking off Friday's loss and gave a good effort Saturday.

The Broncs are 9-1 as the non conference season ends and Martini likes the spot the Broncs are in right now.

They play at Thunder Basin Friday night and host Campbell county Saturday night.

TR / BH HOOPS - The Tongue River basketball teams dropped road games at Wright Friday and hosted games with Big Horn Saturday the Lady Rams took the girls game 64-26 and the Rams took the boys game by the final score of 78-44.

A/C HOOPS - Arvada / Clearmont hosted the Little Six tournament the Lady Panthers went 2-2 the Panthers were 0-3.

SC HOOPS - The Sheridan college Generals and Lady Generals swept home games with Western Wyoming Saturday the Lady Generals ended four game losing streak with a 59-58 win the Generals hammered Western 94-58 both teams get back on the home court Wednesday hosting Casper game times are 5:30 and 7:30.

COWBOY HOOPS - The Wyoming Cowboys lost at home to Utah state 71-55 they play at New Mexico Saturday.

COWGIRL HOOPS - The Cowgirls lost at Utah state 50-42 they will host New Mexico Saturday.

WRESTLING - The Sheridan Bronc wrestlers finished 12th at the Cowboy invitational tournament in Miles City, Montana. Four Broncs placed Reese Osborne was 4th, Hunter Goodwin and Hayden Crow were 5th and Quinn Heyneman was 6th.

SWIMMING /DIVING - The Bronc swimmers and divers dropped their dual in Laramie Friday and placed 10th in the Cheyenne invitational Saturday.

HOCKEY - The Sheridan Hawks hockey team had a 3-3 tie with Casper Friday night and lost 5-3 Saturday.

INDOOR TRACK - The indoor track season started Saturday at the Casper invitational the Broncs won it the Lady Broncs were second, Tongue River was 12th in the girls team race and in the boys team race Big Horn was 9th and TR was 12th.
