BRONC FOOTBALL - The Bronc football team dropped a tough hard fought game at Natrona county Friday night.

It was a great defensive battle most of the night with Natrona breaking through for two touchdowns in the 4th quarter to pull away and beat the broncs 20-6, Broncs Head coach Don Julian.

The game changer may have come late in the first half with Natrona up 3-0 the NC defense stopped the Broncs twice at the one yard line in the closing seconds of the half to keep the Broncs from taking the lead.

The Broncs are 1-1 and will be at home Friday night againstCheyenne South.

RAMS FOOTBALL - The Big Horn Rams lost their home opener Sheridan Media's Ron Richter has the wrap up.

WOLVES FOOTBALL - The NSI Wolves dropped their opener to Rocky Mountain Friday night 51-12 they play at Pine Bluffs Friday.

UW FOOTBALL - The Wyoming Cowboys got a late touchdown pass from Quarterback Brett Smith with :22 seconds to play and nipped Weber state 35-32 Saturday night.

The Pokes get back into action this weekend with another home game with Texas state.

TENNIS - The Bronc tennis team finished 2nd at a tournament in Scottsbluff, Nebraska. Reed Ritterbush was 2nd in #1 singles, Adam Berry was 3rd in #2 singles, the team of Malik Grant and Brad Peterson were 2nd in #1 doubles.

The #2 doubles team of Cameron Ellis and Kit Price were 3rd and the # 3 doubles team of Trace Addlesperger and Logan Garstad were 2nd.

The Broncs and Lady Broncs play matches at Gillette Thursday.

X-COUNTRY - The Bronc and Lady Bronc cross country runners hosted the Michelle Ludwig memorial Sheridan invitational Saturday.

The Broncs finished 2nd overall and the Lady Broncs were 5th both teams run at the Gillette invite Friday.

SWIMMING - The Lady Bronc swimmers dropped a dual at Laramie Friday 99-78 they have a dual in Gillette Friday.

LADY BRONC VOLLEYBALL - The Lady Bronc volleyball team will host their first home match Friday night against Laramie and have Cheyenne South in on Saturday
