Troopers Pick up a Victory at Billings Tournament / Rockies Have a Three Game Winning Streak

TROOPER BASEBALL - The Sheridan Troopers picked up a nice win last night in Billings as they beat the Laurel Dodgers 8-2 Ayden Roush had three hits and drove in three, Quinn McCafferty got the win on the mound going six innings giving up six hits and had 10 strikeouts.

They continue the tournament in Billings tonight when they play a team from Great Falls, Montana the tournament continues through the weekend with bracket play.

TROOPER BASEBALL - The Sheridan Troopers made a quick turn around Wednesday after eight games on the road the left for another tournament that started last night in Billings.

The Troops are coming off a tournament in Omaha, Nebraska and Head coach Ben Phillips says they played well.

And he said making the trip to the College World Series is a great eye opener for the players.

SC BOYS HOOP CAMP - The Sheridan college Generals boys youth basketball camp tips off next week the camp will open Monday and run through Thursday from 8 to noon each day. They will take walk up registration Monday morning prior to opening the camp at 8:00.

TRAIL RUN RESULTS - The 26th annual Big Horn Mountain Wild and Scenic trail run is over here are the winners of the four events the 18 mile overall winner was Kentz Willis of Sheridan in a time of 2:17:18, the 32 mile overall winner was Neil Long of Casper with a time of 4:26:22 the 52 mile winner was David Ayala of Bozeman, Montana with a time of 7:17:40 and the 100 mile winner was Gabe Joyes from Lander in a time of 20:57:53. TROOPER BASEBALL - The Sheridan Troopers dropped two more on the road Wednesday night at Mitchell, South Dakota they are now 0-4 to start their long trip they lost 8-5 and 3-0 to fall to 10-19 on the season.

The Troops are off today before opening a tournament in Omaha, Nebraska tomorrow.

Troopers Drop two / Rockies Losing Streak Stands at Five / Bronc Football Heads into the Weight Room

TROOPER BASEBALL - The Sheridan Troopers opened up their 13 game road last night dropping two at Rapid City Post 320 by scores of 8-4 and 8-6 the Troops are now 10-17 overall and play two more tonight at Mitchell, South Dakota they are off Thursday before opening a tournament in Omaha, Nebraska Friday.

The road swing will end with a home doubleheader June 26th against Rapid City Post 22.
