UW Cowgirls play their final tune-up tonight and begin MWC play next week

COWGIRLS BASKETBALL - The Wyoming Cowgirls will play an exhibition game tonight in coaches Joe Legerski and Gerald Mattinson's home town Rock Springs.

Legerski says since the demise of the old Cowboy and Cowgirl Shoot-out in Casper they've been talking about taking the Cowgirls out on the road to sites around the state.

Tonight's game with Western Montana is the first of many they hope to plan in the year's to come.

BRONC / LADY BRONC BASKETBALL - The Sheridan Broncs will wrap up holiday workouts Saturday and get ready for a three game road trip with the Lady Broncs to Riverton a week from today.

Broncs Head coach Mike Ibach says they've gotten a lot in this week and will be looking ahead to next week getting ready for a good couple of weeks coming up.

The Broncs and Lady Broncs will play Evanston, Star Valley and Riverton during the three day event in Riverton beginning next Thursday.

We will be Broadcasting all six games for you live as well.

RAMS / LADY RAMS BASKETBALL - The Big Horn Rams and Lady Rams will open next week with games against Wright and Moorcroft.

EAGLES / LADY EAGLES BASKETBALL - The Tongue River Eagles and Lady Eagles will play Moorcroft and Lovell.

BRONC WRESTLING - The Bronc wrestlers open up the new year next Friday at a two-day tournament in Douglas.

BRONC SWIMMING AND DIVING - The Bronc swimmers and divers have had a couple of weeks of good work outs as well Head coach Larry White says it's been important for the Broncs not to lose their edge during the break.

COWBOYS BASKETBALL - The Wyoming Cowboys play their final non-conference game tomorrow afternoon at Houston-Baptist you can hear the game live on AM 14-10 KWYO. broadcast time is at 12:30 with the tip at 1:00.

GENERALS / LADY GENERALS BASKETBALL - The Sheridan college Lady Generals will hold a one day girls basketball camp on New year's day from noon to 4:00. The camp is open to all girls in the 1st through 8th grades they'll take registration at the camp Saturday.

The Generals will be hosting a boys one day camp as well. the boys camp will run on the 2nd from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm and is open to all boys in kindergarten through 6th grade. they will take registration starting at 10:30 a half hour before the camp opens.

The Generals and Lady Generals will open 2011 at home with games against Central and Western Wyoming next week on Friday and Saturday.
