RAMS FOOTBALL - The Big Horn Rams made up their postponed game with Moorcroft last night, and for the Rams it was worth the wait as they dominated the Wolves. The Rams jumped out to a 20-0 halftime lead and went on to shut out Moorcroft 38-0. The Rams playoff chances remain alive, but they must win their final two games.

Next up, the Rams host the Tongue River Eagles Friday afternoon at Homer Scott Stadium for the 2nd Annual Pink Bowl. We will broadcast the game live on AM 14-10 KWYO. The First Federal Pre-game Show will start at 12:45, with kick-off at 1 o'clock.

LADY RAMS VOLLEYBALL - The Big Horn Lady Rams won their match at Wright last night, taking it in three games.

Thursday the Lady Rams host Tongue River for the 2nd Annual Dig Pink matches. Both Big Horn and Tongue River High Schools are promoting Thursday's volleyball matches and Friday's football game in honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month. The players and coaches will be sporting pink as part of their uniforms during the games, and all fans are asked to wear pink while attending both events.

BRONC FOOTBALL - The Sheridan Broncs host the game of the week in Class 4-A Friday with Cheyenne Central. Both teams are 6-1; the Broncs are ranked #1 and the Indians #2. The winner will have the inside track at the regular season title, and the home field advantage for the quarter-final and semi-final round in the playoffs.

NSI FOOTBALL - In other high school football action, last night Lingle remains unbeaten in Class 1-A football, beating NSI 65-14. The Wolves are back out on the road playing at Lusk Friday.

UW - The Wyoming Cowboys have won three straight and are 2-0 in Mountain West Conference play. Saturday the Pokes play at the Air Force Academy; the game will be broadcast live on KWYO. Cowboy Pre-game is set to begin at 11 am with kick-off at noon.

NFL - The 5-0 Denver Broncos play Monday night at San Diego; that game will also be broadcast live on KWYO starting at 5:30.

LADY BRONC VOLLEYBALL - The Sheridan Lady Broncs host games with the Cheyenne schools; they host East Friday at 5 o'clock and Central Saturday.

CROSS-COUNTRY - The Sheridan High School cross-country teams host the North 4-A Regional Meet Saturday. The meet will be run on the grounds of the Sheridan VA. Next week Sheridan will also host the State Cross-Country Championships.

SWIMMING AND DIVING - The Sheridan Lady Bronc swimmers and divers compete at the North Conference Ceet Friday and Saturday in Casper. The State Meet will be held Halloween weekend in Gillette.

“ROCKTOBER” - So much for “Rocktober” as the Colorado Rockies were eliminated from the post season last night, losing to Philadelphia 5-4. The Phillies win the series 3-1, and open the National League Championship Series Thursday at the L.A. Dodgers. Game time is 6 o'clock; Game 2 will be Friday afternoon at 2:30.

The American League Championship Series opens Friday with the New York Yankees hosting the L.A. Angels. Game time is 5:30; Game 2 is Saturday at 5:30.
