SHERIDAN COLLEGE BASKETBALL - The Generals hit the break with a 10-2 record. They've been playing good basketball the last couple of weeks, and head coach Steve Smiley says even though they're playing well, the break is needed. The Generals made the national Top 25 poll last week; Smiley says their depth off the bench really helped.

The Generals and Lady Generals will be back in action January 8th.

SHERIDAN HIGH SCHOOL BASKETBALL - The Sheridan Bronc and Lady Bronc basketball teams head to Green River for three games during the annual “Flaming Gorge” Classic. The event runs Thursday through Saturday.

The Lady Broncs are 4-0; head coach Derek Bissitt says they are off to a good start, but there is a lot of season left in front of them.

The Broncs are 3-1 as they get ready to head to Green River. Coach Mike Ibach says like the Generals, team depth will go a long way to help the Broncs have a good season.

In the victory over Riverton last Saturday, TJ Stender made his first appearance of the season. He'd been out since the State Championship football game with a concussion, and Ibach says it was great to get TJ back out on the court.

BH / TR BASKETBALL - The Big Horn and Tongue River basketball teams head to Fremont County this weekend for a tournament hosted by Wyoming Indian and Wind River High Schools. The tournament will run Friday and Saturday with each team getting three games.

The Lady Rams are 6-0; the Rams are 4-2. The Tongue River Eagles are 4-1, and the Lady Eagles are 5-0.

BRONC WRESTLING - The Sheridan Bronc wrestlers have a dual match tonight at Billings West, then they head to the Big Horn Basin this weekend for the Worland Invitational.

BRONC SWIMMING / DIVING - The Bronc swimmers and divers have a dual meet in Cody Friday, and then go to the Riverton Invitational Saturday.

UW BASKETBALL - The Wyoming basketball Cowboys play at Tennessee tonight. You can hear the game live on AM 1410 KWYO and 95.9 FM -- broadcast time is 4:30.

UW FOOTBALL - The football Cowboys play in their first bowl game since 2004 Saturday in the New Mexico Bowl against Fresno State. We will broadcast the game live for you on AM 1410 KWYO; the broadcast begins Saturday afternoon at 1:30 with kick-off at 2:30.
