Troops win two on the road / Lady Bronc Soccer camp / 2014 WYO Rodeo week starts Saturday

TROOPER BASEBALL - The Sheridan Troopers took both games of their double header in Douglas last night, they took the first game 12-5 and won the second game 13-3.

They will play at Cody Sunday then a week off until they play at home on Monday the 14th against Laramie that is schedule as a single nine inning game at noon. That will be our next live broadcast of Trooper baseball we will have it live for you on 14-10 KWYO.

LADY BRONC SOCCER MINI CAMP - July is sports camp month in Sheridan , the Lady Bronc soccer team closed out a three day mini camp yesterday Head coach Mallery Marshall says it was good to get the varsity players out on the field with some of the incoming freshmen that will be on the team next season.

And we asked Marshall what they get out of a camp in July when their season doesn't begin until March of next year.

With the World Cup of soccer on going Marshall says their sport does get a bump in people being interested in soccer and getting kids interested in playing.

SC YOUTH SOCCER CAMP - The Sheridan college Lady Generals soccer team will host a soccer camp the 23rd-25th with two sessions one for 3rd-6th grades and the other sessions for 7th-10th grades.

YOUTH VOLLEYBALL CAMP - Sheridan youth volleyball is having the University of Wyoming volleyball program in town for a youth volleyball camp the 26th and 27th that camp is open to all girls from the 6th-12th grades for more info go to

BRONC YOUTH FOOTBALL CAMP - The Sheridan high school Little Bronc and high school football camp will be the 16th-18th.

WYO RODEO - 2014 Sheridan WYO rodeo week starts this weekend with the official kickoff Saturday with the WYO rodeo pageant and Horsemanship show.

The Boot Kickoff is next Tuesday in Kendrick park with the first of the four performances of the rodeo Wednesday night.

ROCKIES BASEBALL - The Colorado Rockies lost 4-3 at Washington last night, the Rockies are back at Coors field tonight to open a series with the LA Dodgers you can hear the game live on 87.7 FM ESPN radio, first pitch is at 6:10.
