Troops back on the baseball field Wednesday / Broncs open youth football camp / "Westen Johnson" Summer Slam volleyball tournament coming up in August

TROOPER BASEBALL - The Sheridan Troopers play a double header at home with Casper tomorrow first game starts at 5:00.

BRONC FOOTBALL - The Sheridan Bronc football coaches started the "Young Bronc" youth football camp at Homer Scott stadium last night and over 100 youth players came out to participate, Head coach Don Julian.

The Sheridan high school booster club golf tournament was another big success and the remodel project for the new locker rooms and training rooms is well underway.

The Broncs open fall camp August 10th, the season opens August 28th in Laramie.

SUMMER SLAM OUTDOOR VOLLEYBALL - The annual Weston Johnson summer slam outdoor volleyball tournament will be played August 8th at the YMCA.

The tournament raises money for the Weston Johnson foundation that aides local families and individuals fighting melanoma and other cancer,organizerDJ Dearcorn. And he says they will have several age divisions for all types of players.

Adult divisions play 3 on 3 and youth divisions, 4 on 4 the cost is 75 dollars per team. To register and for more information contact DJ Dearcorn at 763-1411.
