Troopers win two / Jets Host State Tourney-Open Tonight at 7 / Rox fall to the Giants

Then they play a conference doubleheader with Gillette at home on Sunday evening then two with Cheyenne on Monday to end the regular season the state tournament starts a week from Friday in Gillette.

JETS BASEBALL - The Sheridan Jets open the "B" state tournament today at Thorne-Rider stadium eight teams are playing the Jets open against Rock Springs tonight at 7:00.

WYOMING AA AMERICAN LEGION BASEBALL - Cheyenne has backed out of the Wyoming state American Legion "AA" tournament state American legion officials will have an a statement today regarding the state tournament.

National American legion rules stipulate that a state must have an eight team field for their state tournament to be able to qualify for regional tournament play with Post 6 defecting that leaves Wyoming with only seven teams.

BRONC FOOTBALL - The Sheridan Bronc football team started their three day mini camp and Little Bronc camp for kids Tuesday evening, Broncs Head coach Jeff Mowry said this is an important three day mini camp for the high school Broncs.

LOCAL GOLF - Kendrick golf course will host the annual club championship tournament July 27th and 28th all players must have a USGA handicap the entry fee is 50 dollars per player to register stop by the golf shop at Kendrick golf course.
