TROOPER BASEBALL - The Sheridan Troopers have a road double header in Cheyenne tonight which starts a stretch of six games on the road through the weekend.

The Troops are 20-7 overall and coming off a 3-1 road swing at a tournament in Spearfish, South Dakota.

They've won 12 of their last 14 games and are playing well right now Head coach Ben Phillips says it's been a great run so far.

Not only is the pitching and run support been good in the first 27 games but more consistent play in the field has been a big factor in their success.

And he says it's nice to be in the position they are in now compared to where they were two seasons ago.

They now face a great test tonight when they play two at power house Post 6 in Cheyenne.

The troops will host a double header Monday night against Casper and next Wednesday against Cody.

We will be broadcasting the first game of the Casper double header live Monday night on AM 14-10 KWYO the first pitch is scheduled to be tossed out at 5:00.

SHERIDAN BABE RUTH BASEBALL - The Sheridan Babe Ruth baseball league will start their post season tournament next week. Games will be played on Wednesday and Thursday at Redle field in Thorne-Rider park.

They are wrapping up the regular season next week so they can get their teams set for the district and state tournaments coming up in July.

SHERIDAN COLLEGE GENERALS BASKETBALL - Sheridan college Generals Head coach Steve Smiley made it official Tuesday announcing the wrap up of his 2011 recruiting class naming guard Wayne Bradford as his final recruit for the upcoming season.

Bradford is from Baltimore, Maryland he averaged 17 points and 4.5 assists in his senior season at Roanoke Catholic high school this past season.

WYOMING GAME AND FISH - The Wyoming Game and Fish department will hold an open house July 9th at the newly remodeled Story fish hatchery.

The open house will be from 10 AM to 4 AM when they will be hosting tours and more events at the facility.
