Troopers Looking Ahead to Tournament Action on the Weekend / Rockies Whip the Bucs / Hoop Jam Opens Next Weekend

TROOPER BASEBALL - The Sheridan Troopers are scheduled to play in the annual Memorial day weekend tournament in Gillette.

The weather has limited the Troopers to indoor workouts and Head coach Ben Phillips says spring baseball is always a gamble with the weather.

The Troops won't play again at Thorne-Rider stadium until June 18th Phillips says it's just the way the schedule worked out this year.

There has been a lot of rain and snow over the last few days but Phillips says officials in Gillette think they will be able to play most of the tournament this weekend.

ALL-STAR HOOPS - The Wyoming / Montana high school all star basketball series will be played June 7th and 8th. the first night of games being played in Billings and Saturday night's games will be played in Sheridan in the Hoffman dome at Sheridan college.
