TROOPER BASEBALL - The Sheridan Troopers went 2-3 at a weekend tournament in Rapid City.

They picked up victories against Gering, Nebraska and the Casper Drillers and dropped games against Rapid City Post #320, Watertown, South Dakota and Miles City, Montana.

The Troopers 11-15 overall but have a 2-0 record in conference play heading into tomorrow night's conference game with Gillette.

The Trooper / Roughrider regularly scheduled game was rained out June 11th, tomorrow night it's a single nine inning game and we will have it live for on on 14-10 KWYO first pitch is set for 6:00.

Following the Gillette game the Troops will he to Cheyenne for a tournament that starts at Thursday then on Thursday the 11th they head to another tournament in Billings.

After tomorrow night's game the Troops only have two more home dates left in the season. July 15th against Laramie and July 24th against the Casper Oilers.

JETS BASEBALL - The Sheridan Jets play two in Casper tomorrow and play a double header in Lovell Saturday.

ROCKIES BASEBALL - The Colorado Rockies took two out of three from San Francisco over the weekend but lost the series finale 5-2 yesterday. The Rockies highlight was right fielder Micheal Cuddyer extending his hitting streak to 27 consecutive games.

Next up for the Rockies is an off day today, they start a three game series with the Dodgers tomorrow night you can hear the game live this on 87.7 FM ESPN radio Rockies pregame starts at 6:05 with the first pitch at 6:40.
