TROOPERS BASEBALL - The Sheridan Troopers dropped a 10-5 decision to Helena, Montana Monday night.

Short Stop Conner Mcafferty had a three run triple to spot the troops a 3-1 lead in the 3rd inning but Helena went off for 6 runs in the 5th to take a 7-3 lead.

The Troops would make it 7-5 but the the Senators countered with three more runs in the 7th to put the game away.

It was just their second loss in the last 12 games Head coach Ben Phillips says the breaks just didn't go their way.

Drew Adriaens took the loss going six innings, the Troopers are 21-4 overall and have a big conference game on the road in Douglas tonight.

They've beaten the Cats twice this season and if they take care of business Phillips expects a good outcome tonight.

This weekend they are on the road playing five games at a tournament in Powell with a chance for all the players to see plenty of action.

JETS BASEBALL - The Sheridan Jets will play at home tomorrow they host two with Gillette starting at 5:00.

Their games with Wheatland scheduled for Saturday have been canceled but they will host the Casper Drillers Sunday afternoon that double header will start at 1:00.

RAMS FOOTBALL CAMP - Big Horn football coach Micheal McGuire is hosting a youth football camp at the school today and tomorrow.

It's open to all kids in the Kindergarten through 5th grade and will run from 9:00 to 11:00.

The cost of the camp is 20 dollars per camper registration will be taken starting at 8:30 this morning at the Big Horn football field.

ROCKIES BASEBALL - The Colorado Rockies have lost nine of their last 10. They open a six game road trip starting today in Philadelphia.

The series opens this evening at 4:30 on Sports / Talk 87.7 FM broadcast time is at 4:30.
