Troopers Drop Game to Gillette / Jets 1-1 at State After a Loss Thursday / Rockies v Pittsburgh Tonight

TROOPER BASEBALL - The Sheridan Troopers dropped a 10-3 decision against Gillette last night the Troops fell behind 7-0 after two innings and the damage was done here's Head coach Ben Phillips.

They close out the regular season tomorrow at home against Cheyenne, the game is set to begin at 4:00 and Phillips says they've played Post 6 tough this season but are still looking for that first victory against the defending state champs.

The state "AA" tournament starts Wednesday in Casper and he says with a few days off they'll have their pitching rotation set and be ready to go.

JETS BASEBALL - The Sheridan Jets are playing in the American Legion "B" state tournament in Rock Springs in the winner's bracket yesterday they lost 12-11 against Casper the game was called in the 5th inning after a two hour time limit was called they play an elimination game today at noon.

NHSFR - The National high school finals rodeo enters the final two days in Gillette from Sheridan county Shyanna Cahoy had a "no time" in the Breakaway roping Thursday, McKenna Balkenbush made her second run in the Goat tying and had a time of 15 seconds.
