Troopers Back at Home / Rockies win at Arizona / BMNC Adds Another Trail Clean up day

TROOPER BASEBALL - The Sheridan Troopers played Dickinson, North Dakota Tuesday night it was just their second home date of the season as they played 24 of their first 26 games on the road so it was a welcome sight to be back at Thorne-Rider stadium, here's Head coach Ben Phillips.

The Troops won the game leading 7-5 when lightning forced the game to be stopped in the 7th inning then the thunder storm did the rest, Carter Dubberley pitched well in the start as the Troops built up a 7-0 lead.

Timely hitting was big as they scored five of the seven runs on three,two-out hits.

This afternoon they will play a club team from Billings in another nine inning game at 3:00.

ROCKIES BASEBALL - The Colorado Rockies opened a road trip last night at Arizona, Jack Corrigan has the wrap up.You can hear it live on Fox Sports radio 87.7 FM.

TRAIL CLEAN UP DAY - The Black Mountain Nordic club will host a trail work day Saturday they are doing this in partnership with the Forest Service.

They will be going to the Cutler trails to clear brush they will meet at 9 am Saturday at the Forest Service office on Eastridge road and car pool up all volunteers are asked to bring work gloves and lunch.

The club is also looking for more volunteers for another trail clean up day on the 29th.
