TROOPER BASEBALL - The Sheridan Troopers beat up Laramie and have advance into the winner's bracket at the Wyoming state American legion baseball tournament.

SHERIDAN LITTLE LEAGUE - The Sheridan little league 9-10 year olds were eliminated from thew state little league tournament yesterday in a 16-2 loss against Laramie they end the season with a 3rd place finish.

SHERIDAN JETS - The Sheridan Jets are the hosts for the American legion junior baseball regional tournament.

The regional begins at Thorne-Rider stadium today with the Jets playing the late game tonight at 8:00 against Fort Collins, Colorado.

TRANSNATIONAL GOLF - Qualifying is over in the Trans-national golf tournament at the Powder Horn the final round of stroke play qualifying took place yesterday the top 64 players start match play today

Sunshine Baraquel from the Phillipines had the lowest score in strioke play with a two day total of 139.

Sarah Bowman of Parkman had the best score of the three local players tieing with a group at 164 also competing from Sheridan were Mary Smith and Cheryl Wieland.

YOUTH SPEED CAMP - Sheridan high school is hosting a speed camp for all Sheridan county junior high and high school athletes today and tomorrow.
The camp is free for and will be held at the Sheridan high school track from 1:00 to 4:00 this afternoon with check-in at 12:30, tomorrow they'll go from 8:30 till noon

GOLF FUNDRAISERS - The Sheridan high school booster club will host their annual fund raising golf tournament at the Powder Horn Saturday August 6th. Call the Powder Horn to sign up your teams.

The Holy Name school fundraising golf tournament will be Saturday, August 6th as well the four person team scramble will be played at Kendrick golf course. Get teams together and enter at Kendrick.

LADY BRONC SWIMMING / DIVING- rent Moore is the new swimming and diving coach at Sheridan high school this week he is holding a camp for all Lady Bronc swimmers.

We had a chance to sit down with the new coach Tuesday during the Lady Bronc mini camp. Moore comes to Sheridan after coaching high school and club swimming at Poudre Valley high school in Fort Collins, Colorado.

Practice for the upcoming season officially begins Monday, August 15th as we discuss the Lady Broncs off season training.

YOUTH VOLLEYBALL CAMP - Sheridan college women's volleyball coach Jennifer Weitzel and the Lady Generals will host their youth volleyball camp August 1st through 4th in the Hoffman dome at Sheridan college.

The morning session is for players K-5th grade and the afternoon session for players in the 6th through 12th grades.
