TROOPER BASEBALL - The Sheridan Troopers are 16-3 overall and get back on the field tonight with a conference game with Douglas at Thorne-Rider stadium.

They've won four of their last five games and are coming off a sweep of Wheatland Sunday.

They also played five games in three days and Head coach Ben Phillips says it was nice to get the players an off day Monday.

At 15-3 on the season Phillips says they are off to a pretty good start.

They host Douglas tonight in a big conference home game as Phillips says the "Cats" have a good team this year.

Tonight's game can be heard live on 14-10 KWYO, it's a single nine inning game, first pitch is scheduled to be tossed out at 5:00.

SPORTS CAMPS - Camps galore this week with the Sheridan college boys youth basketball camp running through Thursday also through Thursday the University of Wyoming is conducting a youth tennis camp at Sheridan high school.

Next week new Big Horn Head football coach Micheal McGuire will host a Little Ram youth football camp at the school.

The camp will be two days next week on Tuesday and Wednesday and is open to all kids in the Kindergarten through 5th grade and will run each day from 9:00 to 11:00.

The cost of the camp is 20 dollars per camper which includes a camp t-shirt. registration will be taken starting at 8:30 Tuesday morning at the Big Horn football field.

2012 TRAIL RUN - The annual Big Horn Mountain Wild and Scenic Trail Run is this weekend in Dayton.

The 100 mile race begins Friday morning, the 30K, 50K and 50 mile events are full and will begin Saturday morning.

The post race picnic will start at 1:00 in Scott park in Dayton and the post race awards breakfast will be held Sunday morning starting at 8:00 on Grinnell Plaza in downtown Sheridan.
