TROOPER BASEBALL - The Sheridan Troopers will play a double header in Sturgis Saturday and then back home for two Sunday with Riverton. the first game is set to start at noon and we will have it live on 14-10 KWYO.

They end their regular season with a double header Monday in Miles City, Montana.

They open post season play next Wednesday and Head coach Ben Phillips says they'll use the next six games as prep for the district tournament.

And Ben says the pitchers will get a good tune up before the tournament starts.

The weather is going to be a big factor over the next several days so all the players will get a chance to a lot over these last six games.

And he says the big thing right now is making sure they cover all the fundamental things that will make them successful in the post season. They open the district tournament in Powell Wednesday against Lovell.

JR HIGH VOLLEYBALL CAMP - The Tongue River middle school will be hosting a volleyball camp from 9:00-12:00 on August 7-10 in Ranchester.

The camp is open to all girls entering grades 6-8. Wade Wells, Director/Coach of Montana juniors volleyball club, will be the clinician.

Wells has coached throughout Montana at the collegiate, high school & club levels. Cost is $60 and includes T-shirt.Please call 751-7361 after 5 pm for more

LOCAL FOOTBALL - Today is the final day of football camp at Sheridan high school 100 players from Sheridan, Big Horn, Tongue River and Buffalo has participated in the camp this week.

The Broncs open up two a days Monday, August 6th and open the regular season Friday, August 24th with a road game at Cheyenne Central, the Bronc home opener will be a good one when they host Natrona county August 31st.

ROCKIES - The Colorado Rockies lost to Pittsburgh 9-6 Wednesday night the Rockies are off today and resume their schedule tomorrow with a series in San Diego.

We will broadcast that game for you tomorrow night on Sports /Talk 87.7 FM broadcast time is at 7:30.
