TROOPER BASEBALL - The Sheridan Troopers took two games from Douglas Friday before dropping a pair in Rapid City yesterday.

The Troops beat up Douglas Friday night at Thorne-Rider stadium sweeping the double header 11-2 and 17-1. They played yesterday in Rapid City and dropped two games against Post #320 by scores of 14-10 and 14-4.

The Troops will play a road double header in Powell tomorrow before coming home for two games with Torrington Friday.

They will also host two with the Gillette Roughriders Sunday which are conference games at 1:00 and 3:00 we will be broadcasting game one live on AM 14-10 KWYO.

WYOMING ALL-STAR BASKETBALL - The Wyoming / Montana high school all-star basketball series will be played Friday night in Sheridan and Saturday night in Billings.

This past weekend the annual Wyoming series with South Dakota took place all four games were won by Wyoming.

The Wyoming girls swept both games by scores of 85-66 and 106-93 the Lady Broncs Kayla Woodward who will join the Wyoming Cowgirls this fall averaged 19 points leading the way in the first game with 24 points and chipping in with 14 on Saturday.

Woodward will also be playing in this week's series with the Montana All-stars.

In the boys games Wyoming won the first game 77-76 Buffalo's Aaron Tyser who will play at Sheridan college this fall hit the game winning shot with :02 seconds to play.

On Saturday Wyoming made it a four game sweep in the South Dakota series winning 88-80.

Big Horn's Colby Wollenman hit 7 points on Friday and 8 more on Saturday he will also be playing in Sheridan this week in the Montana series.

Also playing for team Wyoming this week will be Sheridan Bronc Raith Durham a three year starting point guard for the Broncs, he says it is an honor to be named to the 2011 Wyoming All-star roster.

And Durham says most of all is excited to get a chance to play on the same team with the players he's gone up against for the last three years.

The annual series with Montana tips off with the girls game at 6:00 Friday followed by the boys at 8:00 in the Hoffman dome at Sheridan college.

Saturday the games in Billings will be played at Rocky Mountain college also at 6:00 and 8:00 all four games will be broadcast live on AM 14-10 KWYO.

GOLF - The Sheridan Media benefit golf tournament will be played at Kendrick golf course Friday, shot gun will be at 1:00.

Proceeds from the tournament this year is going to help purchase the statue "Raptoround"

The cost for golfers is 60 dollars per player which includes the golf, cart and dinner following the tournament.
