Track and Soccer Regionals Open This Week / Troopers at Gillette Wednesday / Rockies v Giants Tonight

REGIONAL TRACK - Track and Field hits the postseason this week Sheridan high school will host East 4-a and 1-A / 2-A combined regional meet starting Friday. the meet includes Sheridan, Big horn, Arvada / Clearmont and NSI.

Tongue River high school competes at the 2-A West regional starting Friday hosted by Shoshoni.

REGIONAL SOCCER - The Sheridan high school soccer teams start the post season this week the East 4-A regional tournament opens Thursday in Laramie the Broncs open with Cheyenne East at 2:00 the Lady Broncs take on Laramie at 4:00 all four first round matches are elimination games.

TROOPER BASEBALL - The Sheridan Troopers are now 3-3 on the season they are scheduled for a game in Gillette tomorrow night it's set for a single nine inning game at 5:30. They play their home opener Sunday afternoon against Laurel, Montana the first game is set to start at 1:00.

ROCKIES BASEBALL - The Colorado Rockies open a home series with San Francisco tonight you can hear the game on Fox Sports radio 87.7 FM broadcast time is 6:00.

COWBOY FOOTBALL - The Wyoming football Cowboys have completed their spring season Head coach Craig Bohl liked what he saw as the Pokes ended the spring with their annual scrimmage.

Coming into the spring Sean Chambers was listed as the Cowboy number one Quarterback and Bohl says he will be the Pokes starter for the opening of the 2019 season. Chambers played in only four games last season and was injured so he did not lose a year and will still be listed as a first year player this season.

SRD - The Sheridan Recreation District board meets this week, they meet Thursday at noon at the Rec. office in Thorne-Rider park.
