TR Drops State Volleyball Opener / State Swimming / Diving Opens Today / Broncs / Rams Host Semifinal Football Tonight

STATE VOLLEYBALL - The Tongue River Lady Eagles opened the Wyoming high school state volleyball championships yesterday against Sundance.

The Lady Eagles took the first game of the match but the Bulldogs went on a run to take the next three games sending TR to the consolation bracket.

They play Pine Bluffs in an elimination match this afternoon.

STATE SWIMMING / DIVING - The Sheridan Lady Bronc swimmers and divers open the state championships in Gillette today Prelims start this afternoon the Finals start tomorrow morning.

SEMI FINAL PLAYOFF FOOTBALL - The Sheridan Broncs host Cheyenne Central this evening we will have it all live for you on KWYO and 106.9 FM starting with the First Federal bank and trust pregame show at 4:30 kickoff is set for 5:00.

A win tonight puts the Broncs in the 4-A state title game for the 5th straight year.

The Big Horn Rams play the Southeast Cyclones this evening the game kickoff off at 5:00 and you can hear it on Fox Sports radio 87.7 FM.

COWBOY FOOTBALL - The Wyoming Cowboys play at Boise state tomorrow night the game will be broadcast on KWYO and 106.9 FM pregame at 7:00 with kickoff at 8:15.

BRONCO FOOTBALL - The Denver Broncos have hit their bye week they head out on the road next Sunday to play at Minnesota.

JUNIOR HOCKEY - The Sheridan Junior Hawks are back on the home ice this weekend hosting games against the Missoula Bruins.

Tonight they are hosting military appreciation night all military and veterans will get free admission into the game the team will also auction off game worn jerseys and all proceeds will go the local WYO West Warrior foundation. They drop the puck tonight at 7:30 then tomorrow at 7:00.

SC BASKETBALL - The Sheridan college Generals and Lady Generals basketball teams hit to road for games tonight and tomorrow in Miles City and Glendive Montana.
