Sheridan Hawks Host Military and Vets Friday Night / Generals / Lady Generals Drop Season Openers / State Volleyball Opens Tomorrow

HAWKS JUNIOR HOCKEY - The Sheridan Junior Hawks are back on the home ice Friday and Saturday against the Missoula Bruins.

Friday night they are celebrating military appreciation night all military and veterans will get free admission into the game the team will also auction off game worn jerseys and all proceeds will go the WYO West Warrior Foundation.

Head coach Andy Scheib says they love having these special nights to raise money for worthy local causes.

BRONC FOOTBALL - The Sheridan Broncs host Cheyenne Central Friday we will have it all live for you on KWYO and 106.9 FM starting with the First Federal bank and trust pregame show at 4:30 kickoff is set for 5:00.

Broncs Head coach Jeff Mowry says they survived to play another week and the players went right back to work prepping for Cheyenne Central.

BRONC FOOTBALL - The Sheridan Broncs whipped Casper Kelly Walsh 62-14 to advance to this week’s football semi final they will host Cheyenne Central the Indians eliminated Rock Springs this past Friday.

The Broncs got it rolling early against KW taking a 42-7 lead at halftime and stretch it out to 56-7 after three quarters.

Head coach Jeff Mowry says they wanted to start fast and that’s exactly how it went down.

SC Basketball Season Starts Tomorrow at Home / Broncs and Rams Open the Football Playoffs / Hawks Back on the Home ice

GENERALS / LADY GENERALS HOOPS - The Sheridan college Generals and Lady Generals basketball teams will play will play two tune up games at home Friday and Saturday the Generals will play a club team from the former Ricks college in Rexburg, Idaho the Lady Generals will play the Rocky Mountain college JV’s and an All-star team.

Both teams open the season Tuesday night in the Hoffman dome against Western Nebraska game times will be at 5:30 and 7:30.

BRONC / LADY BRONC CROSS COUNTRY - Sheridan high school is celebrating the Bronc cross country team’s state championship, we sat down with Head coach Art Bauers at the school Monday in the aftermath of the first boys cross country state title in school history.
