State Swimming and Diving Recap / Broncs and Rams Play for Their State Football Titles Saturday / Pokes win at Home / Broncos fall to the Texans

LADY BRONC SWIMMING AND DIVING - The Lady Bronc swimmers and divers finished 4th at the state meet in Laramie.

Lady Bronc State Champions were the 200 medley relay team and Jadyn Mullikin in 100 back.

They set new school records with the 200 medley relay, Piper Carroll on 50 and 100 free, Jadyn Mullikin in the 100 back.

They had seven all state performers the 200 medley relay, Taylor Baldacci and the 200 IM, Piper Carroll in the 50 free, Baldacci in the hundred fly, Carroll in the hundred free, Jadyn Mullikin in the 100 back and Zoe Robison in the 100 breast.

State Swimming / Diving Finals Today / A/C Drops State Volleyball Opener / Sheridan and Big Horn Playoff Football Tonight

STATE SWIMMING AND DIVING - The Lady Bronc swimmers and divers opened the Wyoming swimming and diving championships in Laramie yesterday, 8 of 11 swimmers and two divers made today's finals also they set two new school records in the prelims the 200 medley relay and Piper Carroll set a new record in the 50 free.

STATE VOLLEYBALL - The Arvada / Clearmont Lady Panthers lost 3-0 to Cokeville in the opening round of the state tournament last night they play an elimination match today against Lingle / Fort Laramie.

SC VOLLEYBALL - The Sheridan college Lady Generals volleyball season came to and end Wednesday with a four set loss to Mcook, Nebraska at the region nine tournament in Cheyenne.

LADY BRONC SWIMMING / DIVING - The Sheridan Lady Bronc swimmers and divers open the Wyoming 4-A state championships in Laramie Thursday. Laramie is the favorite to run away with the team title with four teams set to battle out for two through five.

Lady Broncs Head coach Brent Moore says it should be a very good battle to get into the top three.

SHERIDAN COLLEGE HOOPS - The Sheridan college basketball teams open their seasons Friday night at home the Lady Generals will play an all-star team at 5:00 the Generals open with Otero CC from La Junta Colorado at 7:00.

Generals Head coach Matt Hammer likes his roster for this season with several new faces.

Local Runner competes in a National Marathon

Local runner Patrick Geary participated in the 43rd annual Marine Corp Marathon in Washington, D.C. this past Sunday, October 28th.

His time was 2 hours 50 minutes and 26 seconds, which breaks down to a 6.29min/mile pace.

He placed 59th overall out of 30,000 people, was 55th in the male category, and 15th in his age group of 30-34 year olds.

Weekend Local Sports Wrap up

BRONC FOOTBALL - The Sheridan Broncs whipped Rock Springs to advance to the 4-A semi finals they scored five touchdowns in the first quarter and took a 34-0 lead after the first quarter and cruised to the 41-8 victory Head coach Jeff Mowry says they wanted a fast start and got it with Parker Christensen scoring four times in the opening 12 minutes.
