2018 Hoop Jam / SRD Adult Summer Softball set to Begin / Rockies fall at Dodgers

2018 HOOP JAM - The Sheridan high school booster club will be hosting the annual 3 on 3 Hoop Jam basketball tournament June 2nd and 3rd.

Sheridan high school Activities Director Don Julian says that over these last few years they've tried to get student groups from the school involved in helping to host the event and use it as a fundraiser for all kinds of activities.

STATE TRACK AND FIELD - The 2018 all class Wyoming state track and field championships wrapped up the spring sports season Saturday.

The Sheridan Broncs finished 2nd behind Laramie in the 4-A team race the Lady Broncs were 3rd.

The Big Horn Rams finished 2nd in the 2-A the Lady Rams were 10th the Tongue River girls were 15th and the boys 16th and in the 1-A the Arvada/ Clearmont girls were 15th the boys were 15th the NSI boys were 14th.

Several Sheridan county athletes made the all-state list for 2018 they can be seen below on the sports page at sheridanmedia.com.

State Track Results / Rockies win at San Fran in 12 innings / Troopers Play two at Home Sunday

STATE TRACK DAY ONE - The 2018 all class Wyoming state track and field championships got underway in Casper Thursday.

Team scores after day one in the 4-A the Sheridan Lady Broncs in 2nd place the Broncs are 4th in the 2-A the Big Horn girls are 7th the boys are 3rd the Tongue River boys are 13th the girls did not score points Thursday.

In the 1-A the Arvada / Clearmont girls are 11th the boys did not score and the NSI boys are 10th.

The highlight of the day Thursday came from Liam Greenelsh from Big Horn he won the 2-A boys Long Jump.

STATE TRACK AND SOCCER - The 2018 all class Wyoming state track and field championships start today in Casper

The state meet opens with the 3200 meter finals at 11:00 and several field events across all classes will start in the morning as well. Day one will conclude with the finals in the 3200 meter relays.

The Wyoming high school state soccer championships open today in Jackson.

TROOPER BASEBALL - The Sheridan Troopers play their next two games at the Billings Scarlets Saturday afternoon.

HIGH SCHOOL GOLF - The Bronc and Lady Bronc golfers concluded their spring season at the 4-A East conference tournament yesterday in Cheyenne.

The Lady Broncs finished 4th overall Abby James finished 3rd and Hannah Detmer was 5th for the Broncs they finished 3rd and Kirby Coe-Kirkham finished off his high school career as the individual medalist with a 142 total shooting scores of 72 and 70 for the win

State Track and Field Championships Open Thursday / Troopers Play at Home Sunday / Rox win at SD

TRACK AND FIELD - The Sheridan Bronc and Lady Bronc track teams are coming off one / two finishes at last week's regional meet in Cheyenne the Big Horn Rams took their regional title as well, now they prepare to make a run at state title this week as the all class Wyoming state track and field championships start Thursday in Casper.

Sheridan high school Head coach Taylor Kelting says both teams built up great momentum for this week by competing so well in the regional.
