STATE WRESTLING - The Sheridan Bronc wrestlers will be at the all-class state wrestling championships in Casper 17 Broncs will compete for the Blue and Gold this weekend.

Head coach Terry Burgess says they had a pretty good regional and have a good group going to the state championships.

The Broncs have near the bottom of the team standings for the last several years and this year they are looking to make a big move up that ladder as Burgess talks about how many spots they think they move up.

And finally today what's the message to the wrestlers and they get ready to compete.

Wrestling gets underway Friday morning at 9:00 at the Casper Events Center.

2-A REGIONAL BASKETBALL - The Tongue River and Big Horn basketball teams open up east regional play tomorrow in Newcastle.

In the girls bracket the Lady Rams are a #2 seed they open with Southeast at 9:00 tomorrow morning.
the Lady Eagles are a #1 seed and will open with Lingle tomorrow afternoon at 4:00.

In the boys bracket the Eagles are the #2 seed and will play Lingle at noon and the Rams will take their unbeaten record and #1 seed into their game with Pine Bluffs at 7:00.

NSI - A/C BASKETBALL - The 1-A East regional is being played in Douglas and gets underway tomorrow as well.

The NSI Wolves open with Midwest at 5:30 and the A/C Lady Panthers open with Midwest at 7:00.

The top four teams from each bracket will be in Casper next week for the 1-A/2-A state basketball championships.

Sheridan Media sports will be in Casper to bring you all the live play by play of all of our Sheridan county teams.

LADY BRONC BASKETBALL - The Sheridan Lady Broncs will win the conference regular season championship if they sweep their Cheyenne road trip this week.

They are tied with Gillette for the lead and if both teams sweep this weekend Sheridan owns the tie breaker.

We will broadcast both games live for you starting Friday night at Cheyenne Central at 7:30 on 95.9 FM and Saturday at 1:30 the Lady Broncs will follow the Broncs on AM 14-10 KWYO.

BRONC BASKETBALL - The Broncs are still in the hunt to pick up one of the conference's two automatic state tournament bids but they must win both at home against Central and East.

They play Central at 7:30 Friday night you can hear it on AM 14-10 KWYO. Saturday their game with East has changed to start at 11:45 that's game one of our double header on AM 14-10 KWYO.

STATE SWIMMING / DIVING - The Sheridan Bronc swimmers and divers open the 4-A state swimming and diving championships tomorrow afternoon in Gillette.

SC BASKETBALL - The Sheridan college Generals wrapped up the north sub region title last night winning at Northwest college 67-62.

Both the Generals and Lady Generals wrap up the regular season this weekend at home with games against Eastern Wyoming Friday night and 5:30 and 7:30.

The Generals will also play a single game with Laramie county Saturday night at 5:30.

COWBOYS BASKETBALL - - The Wyoming Cowboys host the Air Force academy tonight. You can hear the game live on AM 14-10 KWYO and 95.9 FM broadcast time is at 7:30 the tip is set for 8:00.
