State Track and Field Starts Day Two / Troopers Watching the Weather / Rockies at Philly Tonight

STATE TRACK AND FIELD - Events got underway yesterday day at the Wyoming state track and field championships in Casper most of our Sheridan county teams picked up some points during the short afternoon session events really get going today and will wrap up tomorrow evening.

Sheridan high school track coach Taylor Kelting says the sport of track and field provides many opportunities for high school athletes in Wyoming to get good college scholarship offers and they are proud of the track record over the years of the Sheridan program.

HOOP JAM - Sheridan high school will host the annual Hoop Jam 3 on 3 basketball tournament the first weekend in June teams can register right now at hoopjamwyo.com.

OTA'S - Next month after school is out high school athletes in many sports will be competing in various camps all over the country, the camp time for teams is limited to the month of June only and Sheridan high school Activities Director Don Julian says finding a balance between time off and team activities is the key.

TROOPER BASEBALL - The Sheridan Troopers are scheduled for a doubleheader at the Billings Halos tomorrow and back home for two Sunday with the Billings Royals weather permitting.

ROCKIES BASEBALL - The Colorado Rockies open a weekend series at Philadelphia this evening you can hear tonight's game live on fox sports radio 87.7 FM the broadcast will begin at 4:25.
