State Tennis Continues / SHS X-Country big day in Casper / Friday Night Lights Live

BRONC / LADY BRONC TENNIS - The Wyoming state tennis championships started Thursday in Gillette after day one the Lady Broncs sit in 11th place and the Broncs are 8th overall the tournament concludes with the finals tomorrow.

X-COUNTRY - The Bronc and Lady Bronc cross country teams had a great meet in Casper yesterday the Broncs were first the Lady Broncs 2nd.

In the individual top ten standings for the Lady Broncs Katie Turpin was 3rd, Kate Moran was 8th and Sarah Gonda was 10th.

Alex Garber led the Broncs in 3rd place, David Standish was 4th, Tim Brown was 6th, Wyatt Shaw was 7th and Garret Avery was 9th.

Both teams will run a week from today at an invitational in Thornton, Colorado.

SWIMMING / DIVING - The Lady Bronc swimmers and divers host a pre-invitational meet this evening events start at 4:00 and the full field Sheridan invitational will take place tomorrow starting at 9:00.

VOLLEYBALL - The Lady Bronc volleyball team is on the road this week for matches in Cheyenne they play at East this evening and Central tomorrow afternoon.

The Tongue River Lady Eagles play at Rocky Mountain today and at Big Horn Saturday.

The Big Horn Lady Rams host Sundance today and Tongue River at noon Saturday.

The Arvada / Clearmont Lady Panthers dropped a five set match against Upton last night they have Ten Sleep on the schedule today.

The Sheridan college volleyball team hosts Western Wyoming tonight at 7:00, tomorrow they host Central Wyoming at 3:00.

SC SOCCER - The Sheridan college soccer teams host matches with Laramie county tomorrow at 2:00 and 4:00.

RODEO - The college hosts the annual Pat Hamilton rodeo this weekend at the Sheridan county fairgrounds the schedule is posted right now below on the sports page at

BRONC FOOTBALLL - The Sheridan Broncs play at Casper Kelly Walsh tonight we will have it live for you on KWYO and 106.9 FM starting with the First Federal pregame show at 5:30.

Head coach Jeff Mowry says the Broncs are starting to get the fact that attention to detail and the little things have cost them the last two weeks.

Quarterback Jacob Boint is coming into his own as well facing two really tough defenses the last two weeks, JB really showed his toughness last Friday after taking some big hits against Thunder Basin he just kept coming back at them.
