2-A STATE BASKETBALL - The Tongue River Lady Eagles and Big Horn Rams open up the state 2-A basketball bracket Thursday at Casper college and we will broadcast both games live on 14-10 KWYO and 95.9 FM.

The Rams are a four seed and will play number one seed Wind River at Noon the Lady Eagles are a two seed and will play three seed Shoshoni at 4:30 in the afternoon.

4-A REGIONAL HOOPS - The 4-A East regional opens Thursday at Cheyenne East high school the Sheridan Lady Broncs will play an elimination game Thursday night at 7:00 against Cheyenne South we will have it live on 14-10 KWYO and 95.9 FM..

The Broncs got a first round bye and will play in the semi finals Friday night at 8:30 against the winner of Thursday's game between Laramie and Cheyenne Central.

INDOOR STATE TRACK AND FIELD - Also this week the state indoor track and field championships will be held in Gillette Sheridan high school Head coach Art Bauers says the athletes are getting themselves ready to compete. And he says this indoor season has gone by very fast.

Following the championships Saturday it will be just a few days of rest before the outdoor season opens.

WYOMING COWBOY HOOPS - The Wyoming Cowboys will play tonight at home against TCU we will broadcast tonight's game live at 7:00 on 14-10 KWYO and 95.9 FM.

SHERIDAN YOUTH BASEBALL - Sheridan Youth Baseball will hold a special preseason parent informational and preregistration meeting Thursday night starting at 6:00 at the Sheridan junior high. Sheridan youth baseball oversees the Sheridan Little League and Babe Ruth baseball programs.

Mike Mcafferty is a spokes person for the group and says the little program gives those kids that want to a chance to play more baseball in the summer.

The Sheridan Rec District still has the summer Webb Wright baseball program and Sheridan Youth Baseball has joined with the Rec District to make sure Webb Wright stays strong.

And he says Thursday night's meeting and registration is for parents to find out more information on the Little League and Babe Ruth programs.

Again the information and player registration meeting will be Thursday night starting at 6:00 in the Sheridan junior high.

The Little League player / parent meeting will start at 6:30 that's for 9-12 year olds and the Babe Ruth meeting for 13-15 year olds with their parents will start at 7:00.
