State Cross Country Preview / High School Football Regular Season Wraps up Friday / Conference Swimming / Diving Opens Tomorrow

STATE X-COUNTRY - The Wyoming state cross country championships will go Saturday at the Sheridan VA the six finals get underway at 10:30 with the Boys 3-A final followed by the 2-A Boys at 11:00 and 4-A Boys at 11:30.

The first Girls final is the 3-A at noon the 2-A is at 12:30 and the day will finish with the Girls 4-A final at 1:15.

Sheridan high school Head coach Art Bauers says the course at the VA is a tremendous venue for the athletes and spectators.

The Broncs and Lady Broncs are coming off very good regular seasons and 3rd place finishes last week at their conference meet Bauers says the Lady Broncs were late bloomers this season and have been running well for the last several weeks.

The Broncs had a real strong season winning multiple team events and Bauers says they expect to be in the mix Saturday.

And finally today Bauers talks about team goals and expectations for the state championships.

SWIMMING / DIVING - The Lady Bronc swimmers and divers have their conference meet this weekend in Laramie the season culminates in two weeks with the 4-A state swimming and diving championships in Gillette.

VOLLEYBALL - The Lady Bronc volleyball team will close out the regular season this week with a match at Thunder Basin in Gillette tonight.

They have Campbell county at home tomorrow for Senior night the varsity match will start at 6:00. the 4-A East regional tournament will be played in Laramie next week.

Big Horn and Tongue River close out their regular season's as well this weekend their regional tournament will be played next week in Sundance.

The Sheridan college volleyball team plays at Laramie county and Eastern Wyoming tomorrow night and Saturday afternoon.

BRONC FOOTBALL - The Broncs close out the regular season tomorrow at home against Cheyenne East, Senior night ceremonies start at 5:00 we begin our coverage with the First Federal bank and trust pregame show at 5:30 kickoff is at 6:00 on 14-10 KWYO and 106.9 FM.

THUNDER BOWL - The Big Horn Rams and Tongue River Eagles close out the regular season tomorrow night in the Thunder bowl. The Rams host the Eagles the game will kickoff at 6:00 and will be broadcast live on Sports Talk 87.7 FM.

COWBOY FOOTBALL - The Wyoming Cowboys play at Boise state Saturday our broadcast starts at 7:00 with the Cowboy pregame kickoff is scheduled for 8:15 on KWYO and 106.9 FM.
