SRD Board Meeting / Cowboy Hoops Fall at Pacific / Sheridan Lions Club Basketball Tournament Tips Off Friday

SRD - The Sheridan Recreation District board held their November meeting Tuesday Rec district Director Richard Wright says they have a new Christmas break activity for kids this year.

Also at the meeting discussion included ground breaking at the new Doubleday sports complex in north Sheridan, District board President Don Julian says they recently received a gift that will save a quarter of a million dollars towards construction of the new complex.

The Doubleday sports complex will include baseball and softball fields and soccer fields for youth and adults and will also tie into the Sheridan walking path in the north park area Julian says several local groups have joined together to make this project possible.
